Ironically, back-to-school means I have more time. Suddenly, my lunch break is my own, instead of providing relief to my wife for a brief window in her kid-packed day.
As a result, there are some projects moving forward at a normal pace again.
Subscribers will have noticed a teaser email for the Phrame 75 - the same overall design, but tweaked for CZ75 and CCM 86 grip panels. A borrowed CZ85 was an instant match at a range in Sarajevo many years ago, and the screw placement allows for certain "flexibilities" in future variations. So CZ75 grip panels are the future of Phrames as it currently stands. Expect these by Black Friday, so feel free to drop hints to Santa.
I've also been fine-tuning a way to modify an existing valve to work with the Phrame, and feel comfortable offering it as a service. If you have a gorgeous old-school acid wash or splash ano, I can now modify both the body and valve to fit the Phrame, and will offer the Phrames without a new valve body for people who want to go that route. https://www.phrameworkdesigns.com/product-page/valve-phrame-button
Finally, I've picked up one more passion project from a very long time ago. Not quite Nelson-based, but it could be a cool thing and it's keeping my math sharp on the pneumatics side. If it comes to fruition, I'll post here; if not, know that I put a reball through my garage wall during testing.
If you just can't wait for my new stuff, check out two other sites I respect and enjoy:
